Mind Games Aqua imagines an X-ray of a head wearing headphones, its skull filled with tropical fish swimming in aqua tones. Surreal and thought-provoking, the piece explores the noise and imagination of the inner mind with a playful sparkle.
Mind Games Aqua is a limited edition print by Chloe Rox, a self-taught British artist and animal-rights campaigner whose hand-finished pop art carries diamond dust, glass embellishment and a message. Beyond the technique, Chloe Rox describes herself as a humanitarian and animal rights campaigner, and that moral outlook runs through her practice: each piece is built around an accompanying message rather than image alone, using bold pop-culture references and bright, layered colour to draw the eye in before the meaning lands.
It is limited to an edition of 20.
