A Tel Aviv-raised urban pop artist bringing graffiti roots and Florentine street culture to portraits of superheroes, royalty and icons.
Yuvi grew up in Tel Aviv's Florentine neighbourhood in the 1970s, at the heart of the city's graffiti scene, surrounded by a mix of street art, music and politics that shaped his artistic direction from an early age.
That upbringing still runs through his work today: bold urban pop art built around superheroes, royalty, scientists, artists, movie stars and animals, rendered with humour and defiance. His pieces move fluidly between social criticism and iconic homage, always in what he describes as his own deeply personal visual language.
