Hervé Lenouvel

French

Nationality:

Atmospheric French landscapes between suggestion and abstraction.

Hervé Lenouvel was born in 1960 in Brittany, near the forest of Brocéliande, where he still lives and works.
Self-taught in oils, he began with figurative painting before moving to a more spontaneous approach that sits between suggestion and abstraction.
Nature, observed on his daily walks, is his only source of inspiration. His landscapes are about light, mood and atmosphere rather than detail.
He exhibits in France, the UK, Canada and the USA. Dane Manor Fine Art holds a selection of his Studio Editions. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
