Paul Bennett

Paul Bennett paints full time in his home county of Buckinghamshire. He holds an honours degree in fine art and previously worked in graphic design in London's finance sector.

He paints semi-abstract seascapes and landscapes from memory rather than from photographs, building texture with layers, poured paint and the palette knife.

Light and shadow are central to his work, which aims to evoke a feeling of intimacy and isolation.

Dane Manor Fine Art holds a selection of his Studio Editions. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
