Emerging Victorious - Canvas Deluxe is a Deluxe limited edition on canvas by Leigh Lambert. Spitfires fly low over a cobbled street as people salute below in Emerging Victorious, a stirring tribute to Britain's wartime spirit. The canvas edition has the texture and depth of a painting. Leigh Lambert, a largely self-taught painter born and raised in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, paints post-war Britain in near-monochrome, using small touches of colour to bring out the people.

The terraced houses, chimney pots and wet cobbles are painted in Leigh Lambert's near-monochrome greys, so the eye is drawn to the line of figures in the street and the aircraft sweeping low overhead. Small touches of colour pick out a few of the people below, while the open grey sky gives the Spitfires room to fly. The scene is full of the small details that make Lambert's work so recognisable. At 76 x 110 cm, this Deluxe canvas is the largest version of the piece, a real centrepiece for a living room or study, and a moving tribute for anyone with family memories of the war years.
