Children spill out into a brick-lined alley on the first day of the summer holidays. As a canvas artist proof, it is one of a very small number set aside from the main edition.
School's Out For Summer - Canvas Artist Proof is a limited edition by Leigh Lambert, a largely self-taught painter based in Warwickshire who paints post-war Britain in near-monochrome, using small touches of colour to bring out the people.
