Michael Abrams

British

Nationality:

Joyful, naive-style scenes of couples, travel and celebration, all about love and togetherness.

Michael Abrams spent a decade working as a forklift driver while building a second life as a freelance greeting card artist at night, working with major card publishers and experimenting with techniques and ideas along the way. In 1990 he turned to art full time.
His paintings and mixed media works are joyful and romantic, with a naive style that suits his favourite themes: love, togetherness, travel and celebration. Titles such as Where You Go, I Go and Hopelessly In Love say it all.
He has also designed an exclusive ceramic range for Wedgwood, and his work has been exhibited in New York and beyond and hangs in homes across the UK and abroad.
Dane Manor Fine Art holds a selection of his limited editions, each supplied framed. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
