Beneath a railway bridge, a couple and their faithful dog pause as a steam train puffs overhead. Rich colour and fine detail give this nostalgic scene a cosy, storybook feel.
Love Train is a limited edition print by Michael Abrams, released in an edition of 45. Michael Abrams spent ten years driving a forklift while painting greeting cards by night before turning to art full time in 1990. His joyful, naive-style scenes of couples, travel and celebration are all about love and togetherness, and his work has been shown in New York and beyond.
