A Moment In Time captures a wildflower landscape at its summer peak, colourful blooms stretching towards a bright blue sky. Layered, impressionistic texture makes the scene feel fleeting and precious, like a memory of a perfect countryside day.
A long band of poppies, daisies and wildflowers in red, white, yellow and violet runs across the foreground, painted in thick, crisp strokes. Behind it, golden fields roll away to a low horizon beneath a deep blue sky streaked with white cloud. The wide, panoramic format makes it ideal above a sofa, bed or fireplace. At 50 x 120 cm, or 71 x 141 cm framed, it is a calm and uplifting way to bring the countryside indoors.
A Moment In Time is a limited edition print by Kimberley Harris, a Suffolk-based countryside artist known for richly textured, palette-knife studies of wildflowers and meadow light. Limited edition canvases go through highly advanced printing followed by meticulous hand embellishment with art pigments and gels, with some editions as small as 45 copies.
