Named after the devoted heroine of Greek myth, Alcestis pairs a head of flowers with striking red lips. Opulent and bold, the collage honours loyalty, courage and feminine strength.
Alcestis is a limited studio edition by Chuck, released in an edition of 45. Chuck is a mixed media artist who fuses digital art with painting and gold leaf. Drawing on the Baroque and Renaissance, he creates surreal portraits adorned with flowers, many named after figures from Greek mythology and celebrating the strength of womanhood.
