This paper edition reimagines Clytemnestra as an ethereal figure surrounded by flowers and fluttering butterflies. Classical myth meets Japanese-inspired collage, creating a work that is beautiful, mysterious and quietly powerful.
Clytemnestra - Paper Edition is a limited edition print by The Trunk Of Funk, a Macclesfield-based mixed media artist layering photography, gold leaf and Japanese textile motifs into intricately detailed contemporary works. His Urban Geisha series is his best-known body of work: a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Geisha that fuses street art aesthetics with Eastern symbolism, decorative stamps and gilded detail.
