An orangutan with headphones clamped over its ears tunes out the world in Headphones On, Reality Off. Relaxed and relatable, the drawing celebrates the simple escape of losing yourself in music.
Headphones On, Reality Off is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
