The great bronze lions of Trafalgar Square stand guard in the rain in Lions Of London. Glistening pavements and soft city light give this familiar landmark a moody, romantic air.
Lions Of London is a limited edition giclée print by Ed Robinson, a design-industry veteran whose mixed-media cityscapes layer printed letters, watercolour and oil into iconic views of London and beyond. He first experimented with the mixed-media technique that now defines his fine art practice 35 years ago, while still a student — combining printed letters, watercolours, acrylics and oils into layered compositions built around light and texture.
It is limited to an edition of 45.
