A portrait study framed by a vivid red heart and small crown motifs, Love (Portrait) is tender and graphic at once. Loose ink lines meet bold accents of colour in an affectionate, pop-tinged image.
Love (Portrait) is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 25. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
