Moorland Flight evokes open, windswept moorland in loose, expressive marks. Earthy tones and sweeping gestures carry a sense of flight across the wild terrain, giving the work a free, airy spirit.
Moorland Flight is a limited Studio Edition by David Taylor, released in an edition of 50. David Taylor is a Lancashire-born painter, trained as an architect, whose semi-abstract oils of land, sea and sky are often described as Turneresque.
