Elton John’s gold-tinted glasses take centre stage in Rocketman, a flamboyant portrait full of sparkle and personality. Tetlow’s lively ink work matches the showmanship of one of Britain’s great entertainers.
Rocketman is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
