Children play outside the corner shop, hoping someone will save them one. As a canvas artist proof, it is one of a very small number set aside from the main edition.
Save Me One - Canvas Artist Proof is a limited edition by Leigh Lambert, a largely self-taught painter based in Warwickshire who paints post-war Britain in near-monochrome, using small touches of colour to bring out the people.
