Swinging from a lamp post beneath a red umbrella, a carefree chimpanzee recreates a classic screen moment. The splash of red against the monochrome ink makes Swinging In The Rain a cheerful, nostalgic piece.
Swinging In The Rain is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 25. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
