Children play out on a cobbled street of terraced houses, with Leigh Lambert's trademark splashes of colour lifting the grey. The canvas deluxe edition presents the scene at its largest, with extra depth and detail.
There May Be Trouble Ahead - Canvas Deluxe is a limited edition by Leigh Lambert, a largely self-taught painter based in Warwickshire who paints post-war Britain in near-monochrome, using small touches of colour to bring out the people.
