A gorilla rides a scooter decorated with the Union Jack in A Way Of Life, a fond salute to British mod culture. The image is stylish, nostalgic and full of easy-going confidence.
A Way Of Life is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
