Beneath a tree hung with little hearts, a couple enjoys afternoon tea in the dappled shade. The scene is sweet, quintessentially English and full of the gentle romance Abrams is loved for.
Afternoon Delight is a limited edition print by Michael Abrams, released in an edition of 45. Michael Abrams spent ten years driving a forklift while painting greeting cards by night before turning to art full time in 1990. His joyful, naive-style scenes of couples, travel and celebration are all about love and togetherness, and his work has been shown in New York and beyond.
