A chimpanzee sits on a vintage drinks crate beside a beaming smiley face and the words “Have A Nice Day”. Cheerful and retro, the piece mixes pop-art optimism with Tetlow’s loose ink style.
Have A Nice Day is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
