Here a chimpanzee holds up a hand-lettered placard reading “If you’re looking for a sign, this is it!” Cheeky and upbeat, the drawing turns a familiar phrase into a warm nudge of encouragement.
If You're Looking For A Sign is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 25. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
