Champagne in one hand and cigar in the other, a chimpanzee lounges in a red classic sports car in It's Just Rock & Roll. Flamboyant and hedonistic, it satirises the rock-star lifestyle with gusto.
It's Just Rock & Roll is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
