A horse’s head with a flowing mane is drawn with restrained, elegant strokes in Quiet Power. Calm yet commanding, the piece conveys strength held quietly in reserve.
Quiet Power is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
