David Bowie appears with the red lightning bolt across his face in Stardust, recalling his glam-rock alter ego. Fluid ink and a dash of colour give this portrait an otherworldly, theatrical presence.
Stardust is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
