A young girl offers a red balloon to an elephant in this miniature of The Gift. Tender and hopeful, the single splash of red makes the moment feel quietly magical.
The Gift - Miniature is a limited edition miniature by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 45. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
