A tiger with golden-yellow eyes is shown in striking close-up, alert and self-assured. The Prince captures a big cat in its youthful prime, rendered with Robson's characteristic precision.
The Prince is a limited edition print by Martin Robson, released in an edition of 45. Martin Robson trained in graphic design and spent 25 years in commercial art before painting full time from his home near Lichfield. Working in layered acrylic, he paints big cats and wildlife with precise detail, dramatic light and a gaze that draws you straight in.
