Goggles on and spray can in hand, a young chimpanzee gets to work as a street artist. Chimp Off The Old Block blends humour and urban attitude, with drips and flicks of ink adding to its graffiti energy.
Chimp Off The Old Block is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 25. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
