Shown in profile, a woman turns towards a soft golden glow that seems to radiate across the composition. Abstract layers and warm highlights give this portrait a calm, hopeful mood.
Golden Light is a limited edition print by Sannib, released in an edition of 75. Sannib trained in graphic design in Aleppo and worked in advertising in Kuwait, the UAE and London before turning to art. His mixed media portraits of twentieth-century icons layer graphic elements, paint and texture with golden, earthy tones and the blues of sea and sky.
