Crowned in bright yellow, the woman at the centre of Queen Of Arts is sketched with confident, flowing strokes. Regal yet relaxed, the work celebrates creativity itself with a light touch of street-art swagger.
Queen Of Arts is a limited edition print by Scott Tetlow, released in an edition of 25. Born in Rochdale in 1969 and trained in fine art at Cheltenham, Scott Tetlow fuses the flowing marks of Chinese calligraphy with an urban pop edge. His music legends, screen icons and characterful urban animals are drawn with confident, intuitive energy.
