A snow leopard with ice-blue eyes stares out from Eros, its pale, softly marked coat set against flashes of bright colour. Joe Galindo balances calm, watchful stillness with energetic splashes, giving this elusive mountain cat a captivating presence.
Eros is a limited studio edition by Joe Galindo, released in an edition of 50. Joe Galindo is a Leeds-based wildlife painter, born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working in acrylic, inks, spray paint and layered mark-making, he balances carefully detailed eyes with loose lines, splashes and bold colour, so every animal comes across with real character.
