Felix is a fox portrait with plenty of attitude, his russet coat and alert expression painted with Joe Galindo's signature mix of fine detail and loose, energetic strokes. It is a warm, characterful study of a much-loved British animal.
Felix is a limited studio edition by Joe Galindo, released in an edition of 50. Joe Galindo is a Leeds-based wildlife painter, born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working in acrylic, inks, spray paint and layered mark-making, he balances carefully detailed eyes with loose lines, splashes and bold colour, so every animal comes across with real character.
