Sienna shows a tiger amid vibrant splatter and sweeping lines, her gaze steady and focused. The contrast between the finely painted face and the explosive, abstract surroundings gives the work a thrilling, untamed energy.
Sienna is a limited studio edition by Joe Galindo, released in an edition of 50. Joe Galindo is a Leeds-based wildlife painter, born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working in acrylic, inks, spray paint and layered mark-making, he balances carefully detailed eyes with loose lines, splashes and bold colour, so every animal comes across with real character.
