Willow is a colourful elephant study full of warmth and wisdom. Layers of spray, ink and expressive brushwork build up around the animal's textured skin and thoughtful gaze, creating a portrait that feels both gentle and vibrantly modern.
Willow is a limited studio edition by Joe Galindo, released in an edition of 50. Joe Galindo is a Leeds-based wildlife painter, born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. Working in acrylic, inks, spray paint and layered mark-making, he balances carefully detailed eyes with loose lines, splashes and bold colour, so every animal comes across with real character.
