Joe Galindo

British
Nationality:
A Leeds-based wildlife painter whose detailed eyes and loose, colourful mark-making give every animal real character.
Joe Galindo is a British wildlife artist based in Leeds, born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. A lifelong love of drawing turned into a professional career, and his work is now collected in the UK and Australia.
He works in mixed media, combining acrylic paint, inks, spray paint and layered mark-making. The eyes are always the focal point, painted with real care, while loose lines, splashes and bold colour around them give each piece energy and movement.
His subjects range from big cats and safari animals to primates, British wildlife, sea life and pets, each painted to bring out the animal's personality and presence.
Dane Manor Fine Art holds a selection of his limited studio editions, including Maximus and Titan as large canvas deluxe editions. Every piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
