Golden Afternoon bathes a busy beach in warm, low sunlight, figures strolling along the shoreline as waves roll in. Duncan Palmar captures the shimmer of light on wet sand beautifully, creating a nostalgic, sun-soaked mood.
Golden Afternoon is a limited edition print by Duncan Palmar RSMA, released in an edition of 100. Duncan Palmar is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists who has painted professionally since 1984. Working in oils with scumbles and glazes, he captures the changing moods of the coast, sea and countryside, and his commissions include work for the Armed Forces and Country Life covers.
