October Skies turns to the coast in autumn, with dramatic clouds moving over the shoreline and cooler light on the water. The painting balances drama and stillness, capturing the bracing atmosphere of a seaside walk out of season.
October Skies is a limited edition print by Duncan Palmar RSMA, released in an edition of 100. Duncan Palmar is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists who has painted professionally since 1984. Working in oils with scumbles and glazes, he captures the changing moods of the coast, sea and countryside, and his commissions include work for the Armed Forces and Country Life covers.
