Towering Clouds is dominated by a vast, billowing sky rising above a quiet beach. The scale of the cloudscape and the delicate rendering of light on sea and sand give the work a grand, contemplative presence.
Towering Clouds is a limited edition print by Duncan Palmar RSMA, released in an edition of 100. Duncan Palmar is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists who has painted professionally since 1984. Working in oils with scumbles and glazes, he captures the changing moods of the coast, sea and countryside, and his commissions include work for the Armed Forces and Country Life covers.
