This deluxe edition of Seated Nude II presents the textured oil study in a dark wood frame. Layered palette-knife work and soft modelling of the figure create an elegant, quietly intimate piece.
Seated Nude II Deluxe is a deluxe limited edition by Shaun Othen, released in an edition of 25. Shaun Othen was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, in 1969 and studied at Falmouth School of Art. Working mainly in oils and grounded in a deep study of anatomy, his figurative work has moved from strict photorealism towards a freer style built on texture, line and abstraction.
